This book tells about a young girl who lives with a group of robber called the Doones. The Doones is a cruel robber, they will kill and seize what they wanted. Lorna feels different from them, she feels that she's not belong belong to the Doones family, but she can't do anything. Onec someone who try to help her killed infront of her eyes. It makes her sad and she promise not to run from the the doones. In her loneliness she meet Jhon Ridd, a very nice young man, they become friends then lover. Jhon try hard to take Lorna out from the Doone farm. After Lorna escape from the Doones she found out that she's not the Doone, the doones kidnap her when she was little, her real name is Lorna Dugal, lord Dugal's daughter. Lorna and Jhon love journey is not so easy because of Carver Doone, but Jhon killed Carver in the end.
